Goodbye 2018

Just less than 24 hours away from 2019, I'd like to take the time to sit and reflect on the year that's literally just flown by. Like every other year, I started it with having solid resolutions and promising myself to stick to them but did it really happen? Nope! Haha - I think I just got caught up with work and living my best life and probably making excuses to not do them along the way as well.

There's nothing better than a good night in with some great comfort food .. aside from going out with amazing company with even better food! I've heard nothing but good things about Calia and decided to take my sister, Jen, for her birthday in December last year. A little insight to what type of cuisine Calia is known for - it's basically Japanese fusion using Australia’s best produce and the menu was designed by Michelin star chef, Francisco Javier Araya. To say the least, it definitely left a fantastic impression, especially with the variation on the menu. If you read my last foodie post (read it here), I like to talk about the interior design and let me tell ya, it was as aesthetically pleasing as what you would hope - cute wooden tables and chairs, marble menus .. the goooood stuff!

Hi friends, welcome to my first foodie post! If you're reading this and know me personally, you would know that I'm a strong advocate for brunch. I can safely say that it's my favourite meal of the day and if I could, I would have brunch all day everyday without hesitation. There's just something the busy atmosphere, the smell of delicious coffee and food and simplistic yet pretty decor. My bestie, Thips, introduced me to Dumbo a few weeks ago I definitely have a thing for in store interior and this place pretty much lived up to my standards! Can I say the same about the food? Let's find out, shall we?

Hey guys! It's been a minute since I've bought any makeup for myself but I couldn't resist a good sale so I thought why the hell not, right?! The perks of working where I do is that I'm sometimes spoiled with double discounts on current sales, ranging from makeup to skincare to clothing which is super generous of them. So when I found out that MAC was offering 40% to Team Members, I had to snatch up some new products that I clearly didn't need but wanted to add them to my ever expanding collection. Some of my most loved products come from MAC so hopefully I'll love these too! Let me know if you guys want a full review on any of them but let's keep it short and sweet and jump right into it.
