Everyday Makeup Sitch

I can safely say that getting ready is my favourite part of the day. It's so therapeutic and it's just a great feeling watching yourself go from a 1/10 to a 1.5/10, haha just kidding but no, I really do enjoy getting ready so I thought I would give you guys a little insight into my everyday makeup routine!
Most days I apply primer to just my T-Zone and the Make Up Forever Mattifying Primer does a great job at creating a somewhat, sticky base so that my foundation stays locked and loaded for the day. I just pat this into my skin and I'm good to go!

I like to mix a series of different foundations together sometimes and it's usually a mixture between the L'Oreal Infallible 24-H Matte FoundationL'Oreal True Match Foundation and Maybelline Matte+Poreless Foundation. I love each foundation for different reasons such as the True Match for it's natural finish, 24H Matte for it's consistency and application and Matte+Poreless for it's longevity and shade and just mixing them altogether creates a perfect foundation! Some days I'll use them individually, mix two together or all three at the same time. I recommend mixing your foundations, especially to a foundation that you might not particularly like because of it's shade, texture or finish to a foundation that counteracts those things!

An oldie but a goodie, can't forget about my Maybelline Matte Maker to help set, mattify and keep my oily ass face at bay. A little does go a long way and if you apply too much then it does start to become a little cakey but hey, nothing MAC Fix+ can't fix right?!

I've had this bronzer for years and have bounced around from many but always find my way back to this one. The NYC Sunny Bronzer is just a perfect combination of warm undertones that will compliment all skin tones. I'm pretty much yellow based and this just adds warmth and depth to the face without it looking muddy or too orange and on the plus side, it's cheap as chips!

A new blush that's been added into my everyday routine is the MAC Blush in Warm Soul. Damn this shade is my absolute go to for any makeup look. It's a beautiful blend of light pinks and peaches with a sheen. I love the way it applies and the pigmentation. If you're looking for a pinky neutral blush then definitely go for this one. The Hourglass Ambient Blush in Diffused Heat is another blush that's constantly on rotation. It's has a lot more pink hues to it so if you're looking for a poppin' cheek then hit this one up.

This is my absolute go to highlighter! The Anastasia Beverly Hills 'So Hollywood' Highlighter is God's gift! The amount of compliments I get wearing this highlight is out of this world. It's a beautiful mix of true gold and champagne and is super pigmented so use a light hand (or not, you do you boo). I can't recommend this highlighter enough! You can never go wrong with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. This was my first ever highlight and I still come back to this one for that light peachy pearl glow, I love it!
Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner in Trooper has taken my heart and replaced my Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner. It's so pigmented, a pointed brush tip and just so easy to apply my liner. I already have enough anxiety applying liquid liner but this just makes the experience 10x better. You can create quick and sharp lines with this bad boy. I highly recommend it.

Mascara of choice is of course the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara. This has been on the top of the charts for me the past year and it still hasn't let me down. I naturally have straight, short lashes that just point down but with a curler and a couple of coats from this bad boy, they stay up nice and perky all day. I love the shape of the wand aswell, it hugs your lashes and lash line making it super easy to grab onto those tight spots.

Another new addition to my makeup routine is MAC Velvet Teddy. Why didn't I pick this up sooner? I absolutely love this shade! I wear almost every day because it's just so easy and the shade matches any and every makeup look. I just bought this maybe a little over a month ago (you can read my MAC haul here) and I'm basically half way! Gorgeous blend of brown and beige.

Lastly, MAC Morning Coffee Lip Liner is a great pair with Velvet Teddy. It has brown and rosy undertones which is just a little darker than VT but it looks beautiful underneath or even worn on it's own. It's overly drying either which is something I love about MAC lip liners. They definitely adhere to your lips even after eating and drinking and fade away nicely, unlike some other that leave your lips super patchy, haha.

That's it you guys! There's a peek into my everyday makeup routine so if you happen to see me on the streets and wanna know what I use then voila! Basically these products are my holy grails so I can't live without them. If you happen to use the same products or are thinking of purchasing any then let me know! Until then, I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day and I'll chat to you in the next one!

Til next time loves,
Neens
